Bandpass filters
Bandpass filters allow a selected frequency band to pass through an RF path while attenuating lower- and higher-frequency energy. They are used when the system needs to preserve a useful channel and reduce unwanted signals around it.
Passband control and out-of-band rejection
Key data includes center frequency, passband width, insertion loss, return loss, lower and upper stopband rejection, group delay, power handling, connector type, package size and temperature behavior. These values affect receiver front ends, transmitter output filtering, shared-spectrum equipment, microwave links and calibrated RF test paths.
