RF paths inside controlled instruments
Medical and scientific instrumentation uses RF and microwave hardware to generate, receive, convert and measure signals inside controlled equipment. The RF path may include low-noise amplifiers, reference modules, IQ modulation or demodulation, low-loss cables and calibration kits between a sensor, probe, chamber, source or measurement instrument.

Work in this area is shaped by signal stability, noise floor, shielding, repeatable cabling, reference quality and calibrated measurement boundaries. The hardware is normally evaluated as part of the instrument signal path, where frequency accuracy, level repeatability, isolation, grounding and environmental conditions affect the final measurement result.
