Customer design authority and released data remain the governing source. Layout design, component procurement and assembly are outside this fabrication scope unless separately agreed in writing.

What files are required for an RF and microwave PCB fabrication quote?
Provide released Gerber or ODB++ data, NC drill files, a fabrication drawing, layer stack-up, laminate designation, copper weights, controlled-impedance requirements, surface finish, dimensional and registration tolerances, panelization expectations, quantity and delivery target. State coupon, inspection, acceptance and traceability requirements. A complete revision-controlled data pack reduces DFM questions and prevents the quote from relying on assumptions that can alter RF performance.
Does RF PCB fabrication include layout, component sourcing or assembly?
Not by default. This service is build-to-data PCB fabrication from customer-approved production files. Layout design, component sourcing and PCB assembly remain outside the service boundary unless they are reviewed, quoted and agreed in a separate written scope. A manufacturability review can identify data conflicts or process risks, but it does not transfer design authority or permit unapproved electrical changes.
