What data is required for an RF hardware CNC machining quote?

Provide the released drawing, matching 3D model and revision, material and temper, dimensions, tolerances and GD&T, thread and connector interfaces, RF-critical sealing or grounding surfaces, flatness and surface-finish requirements, coating or plating, marking, quantity and delivery target. Also identify inspection level, report format and any features that affect shielding, thermal transfer, cavity alignment or connector position.

How are RF-critical CNC machined features inspected?

Inspection follows the approved drawing and agreed control plan. Depending on the feature, evidence may include calibrated dimensional inspection, CMM results, thread gauges, surface-finish or coating checks, flatness data and a certificate of conformity. Dimensional acceptance does not by itself prove RF performance; electrical or environmental validation must be defined as a separate requirement when the project needs it.
