Product Customization & Engineering

Engineering review for adapting an existing LCRF product family to project-specific electrical, mechanical, control or documentation requirements.

Capability scope

This path starts from an existing product family and evaluates whether a controlled variant can meet the project requirement without presenting every request as an available catalog configuration.

Information to provide

  • Base product family or model
  • Frequency, power, gain, noise, linearity and duty-cycle targets
  • RF, DC, control and connector interfaces
  • Mechanical envelope, thermal conditions, quantity and required documents

Engineering review path

Engineering compares the request with the existing architecture, identifies affected interfaces and verification work, and returns the feasible scope, assumptions and next commercial step.

Service boundary

Availability is subject to engineering review. A request is not an approved configuration until technical limits, verification conditions, schedule and commercial terms are confirmed.

FAQ

What information is needed for a custom RF product review?

Identify the LCRF product family or reference model, target frequency range, gain, output power, noise, linearity and duty cycle as applicable. Include operating temperature, RF, power and control interfaces, connector choices, mechanical envelope, quantity, destination, compliance needs, required documents and target timing. The review is faster when requirements distinguish mandatory limits from preferred values and state the measurement conditions for each performance target.

Does a custom RF review create a new standard catalog model?

No. A review first determines whether a controlled variant of an existing architecture is technically and commercially supportable. The configuration becomes project-approved only after limits, interfaces, verification conditions, documentation, quantity, lead time and commercial terms are confirmed. It is not presented as a standard catalog model unless LCRF separately releases it through the product-governance process.
