Digital step attenuators
Digital step attenuators introduce controlled RF loss in defined increments. They allow a system controller, test rack or embedded RF unit to change signal level without replacing fixed pads or moving manual controls.
Programmable attenuation data
Important data includes attenuation range, step resolution, attenuation accuracy, frequency flatness, insertion loss, return loss, switching time, settling behavior, power handling and control interface such as SPI, parallel logic or TTL. These values affect receiver protection, gain calibration, automated test sequences and adaptive RF chains.
