Waveguide Switches
Waveguide switches change the path of RF energy inside rectangular or circular waveguide structures. They are used when frequency, power level or loss budget makes waveguide a better transmission medium than coaxial cable.
System role
These switches appear in radar transmit paths, satellite ground terminals, antenna feed networks, high-power microwave test benches and waveguide distribution systems.
Key data
Useful records include waveguide size or band, flange type, insertion loss, isolation, VSWR, peak and average power, actuation method, switching time, sealing and environmental rating.
