Transceiver converter modules
Transceiver converter modules place transmit and receive conversion functions in a shared assembly so RF or microwave signals can move between operating bands and IF stages. They are used when a radio, payload or front-end architecture needs coordinated upconversion and downconversion with common mechanical, control and reference interfaces.
TX/RX conversion boundary
Important data includes transmit and receive frequency ranges, IF range, LO or reference input, conversion gain or loss, gain balance, receive noise figure, transmit output level, port isolation, switching method, filtering, control interface, supply requirements and connector format. These values affect link budget, duplex behavior, receive sensitivity and unwanted products in radio extensions, satellite terminals, telemetry systems and integrated RF front ends.
